The Lowrance HDS PRO 12 (with C-MAP DISCOVER OnBoard charts and Active Imaging HD support) is the 12-inch flagship Lowrance chartplotter / fishfinder for serious bass and walleye anglers. SolarMAX HD touchscreen viewable at extreme angles and through polarized sunglasses. ActiveTarget 2 Live Sonar ready (transducer / module sold separately). Active Imaging HD ready (the latest high-resolution Lowrance side-imaging and down-imaging). FishReveal display blends sonar and SideScan into one view. Preloaded C-MAP DISCOVER OnBoard charts cover 19,000+ U.S. lakes and 9,400+ Canadian lakes with 1-foot depth contours. Touchscreen control of Power-Pole anchors, Ghost Trolling Motor, Autopilot, and Lowrance Outboard Pilot.

The Lowrance HDS PRO 12 with C-MAP DISCOVER OnBoard and Active Imaging HD ready (part 000-15987-001) is the 12-inch flagship Lowrance multifunction display for serious sport-fishing anglers. The HDS PRO platform is Lowrance’s most-capable fishing chartplotter / fishfinder with the full suite of Lowrance fishing tech: ActiveTarget 2 Live Sonar (with the transducer / module added separately), Active Imaging HD (Lowrance’s high-resolution CHIRP / SideScan / DownScan imaging), FishReveal that blends sonar and SideScan into one view, plus the preloaded C-MAP DISCOVER OnBoard charts with extensive U.S. and Canadian inland-water bathymetry detail. The right helm chartplotter for the modern bass tournament boat or serious walleye boat where the angler wants live sonar, structure imaging, and detailed lake mapping all on one screen.

SolarMAX HD touchscreen. The 12-inch SolarMAX HD touchscreen panel is engineered specifically for direct-sun marine helm conditions. Viewable at extreme off-axis viewing angles (you can read the screen clearly from a seat off to the side – the panel doesn’t black out at angle or from standing behind a sitting helm operator). Viewable through polarized sunglasses (the screen polarization stays clear through the polarized lenses that most fishing sunglasses use, where some marine displays go black at certain angles). Combined with full HD resolution, the SolarMAX HD panel is it’s the right helm display for anglers who fish all day in the sun.

ActiveTarget 2 Live Sonar ready. The HDS PRO 12 supports Lowrance ActiveTarget 2, the second-generation high-resolution live sonar that shows real-time view of fish around the boat. You’ll add the ActiveTarget 2 transducer and module separately – they connect to the HDS PRO over the network and the live sonar view appears as one of the sonar pane options on the HDS screen. ActiveTarget 2 has noticeably sharper image quality than original ActiveTarget, with better target separation and a wider field of view. For anglers running live sonar, ActiveTarget 2 is the current Lowrance state-of-art.

Active Imaging HD ready. The HDS PRO 12 also supports Active Imaging HD, the latest high-resolution Lowrance imaging sonar package: high-frequency CHIRP traditional sonar, high-resolution SideScan side-imaging, and DownScan down-imaging – all from one Active Imaging HD transducer (sold separately). The HD imaging produces meaningfully sharper structure detail than previous-generation Active Imaging – individual brush limbs in a brush pile, individual fish holding tight to structure, and individual rocks all show up with clearer definition.

FishReveal blends sonar with SideScan. FishReveal is Lowrance’s display feature that overlays traditional sonar fish marks onto the SideScan image, so you can see both the structure (in the SideScan view) and the fish marks (from the traditional sonar) in one combined view. Saves the eye-juggling between two separate sonar panes – you don’t have to flip back and forth. Note: FishReveal with SideScan view requires the S3100 sonar module plus a compatible transducer (sold separately).

Preloaded C-MAP DISCOVER OnBoard charts. The HDS PRO 12 ships preloaded with C-MAP DISCOVER OnBoard charts covering 19,000+ U.S. lakes and 9,400+ Canadian lakes – more inland water coverage out of the box than most competing chartplotters. Coverage includes 1-foot depth contours on supported lakes (that’s the level of detail that makes structure fishing actually navigable), shaded relief on supported areas, navigation aids, and standard chart features. For coastal coverage or for higher-detail mapping in your specific area, optional upgrades include C-MAP REVEAL (premium charts with photo overlays), Navionics, and Florida Marine Tracks.

C-MAP Genesis Live real-time mapping. C-MAP Genesis Live records depth and GPS position as you drive over the water and builds custom depth contour maps in real time. Useful for mapping smaller lakes, ponds, or specific creek arms that aren’t covered in detail on the commercial chart cards. The maps you create can be shared with the C-MAP Genesis community (and you can use community-shared maps from other anglers). For anglers who fish waters that aren’t well-mapped commercially, Genesis Live builds the bathymetry detail you need.

Touchscreen + large programmable keys. The HDS PRO 12 combines touchscreen control with large programmable physical keys around the bezel. Touchscreen handles cursor work, pan/zoom, and menu navigation in calm conditions. Programmable keys handle the most-used functions with one-button shortcuts (mark waypoint, switch to live sonar view, toggle SideScan, etc.) – the buttons stay usable in rough water (your fingers don’t have to be dry to hit them) with wet hands and gloves where touchscreens get washed out. The hybrid approach gives you the best of both interface types.

Touchscreen control of Power-Pole, Ghost Trolling Motor, Autopilot, and Outboard Pilot. The HDS PRO 12 directly controls Power-Pole shallow water anchors (deploy, retract, mode select from the chartplotter touchscreen), Ghost Trolling Motor (Lowrance’s GPS trolling motor with Spot-Lock and AutoPilot from the chartplotter), Lowrance Outboard Pilot autopilot, and other compatible boat-control devices. The integration means the chartplotter becomes the central control hub for the boat’s fishing systems beyond just navigation.

Ghost Trolling Motor 360 chart overlay. With a Ghost trolling motor on the boat, the HDS PRO 12 displays a 360-degree status overlay around the trolling motor showing the motor’s heading, the locked Spot-Lock position, the current AutoPilot heading, and other trolling motor state info directly on the chart. Easy at-a-glance reading of what the trolling motor is doing without having to pull up a separate menu.

NMEA 2000, Wireless, Bluetooth connectivity. NMEA 2000 for the boat’s instrument backbone (depth, speed, wind, AIS, engine data, fuel level). Wireless (Wi-Fi) for chart updates, mobile app sync, and software updates. Bluetooth for personal device pairing including smartphone notifications (text messages, calls, weather alerts) displayed on the chartplotter screen. Combined connectivity covers all standard marine helm integrations.

Networking. Connects to other Lowrance HDS units, ActiveTarget 2 modules, S3100 sonar modules, radar antennas, and other Lowrance networked devices over Ethernet for shared waypoints, routes, sonar feeds, and radar feeds. The networking is what makes a multi-display Lowrance helm work as one integrated system rather than as separate displays.

What’s in the box. HDS PRO 12 unit (with preloaded C-MAP DISCOVER OnBoard charts), flush mount kit, NMEA 2000 cable, power cable, install instructions. Required separately: appropriate transducers for the sonar capabilities you want to use (Active Imaging HD transducer, ActiveTarget 2 transducer + module, S3100 module for FishReveal SideScan, etc.). Chart card upgrades for additional regions or premium features.

1-year limited Lowrance warranty. Same-day shipping before 3 PM ET on in-stock units.
